DWIHN Care Center Groundbreaking
The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) held a groundbreaking ceremony at its 707 West Milwaukee headquarters to break ground for the city of Detroit’s first Clinical Care Center. “What a historical occasion,” said Sheriff Washington. “Thank you DWIHN for all of your hard work! The new Clinical Care Center in Detroit will add 39 beds and provide alternative services for individuals in psychiatric crisis. We NEEDED this! Thank you again and congratulations DWIHN. You truly are changing and saving lives!” The facility is scheduled to open in early 2023 will be a place where adults and children can be evaluated to determine their medical necessity for crisis level services. It will be a 24-hour Clinical Care Center.
