Remembering the Late Benny N. Napoleon
Everyone at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is remembering the late Benny N. Napoleon one year after he lost his battle to Covid-19. Benny fought hard. He was a phenomenal Wayne County Sheriff and an exceptional human being. As we remember the first-year anniversary of Benny being called home, we’re encouraging all our staff and friends to get fully vaccinated and continue to be as careful as they can. Benny couldn’t wait to get vaccinated. That’s all he wanted. We do not want to lose any more loved ones to this virus that has ravaged our country and the world. We send our love to Benny’s family and friends and those missing him, especially on this day. I plan to celebrate him in my own, private way by remembering him, praying for continued comfort for his family, and doing what I know Benny would want me to do: keep putting in the work and taking care of the people of Wayne County.
